Operator is a Mac app that looks after your Gmail the way a good butler would: it sorts what arrives, keeps quiet about what doesn't matter, and every Monday leaves you a front page with what does deserve your attention. The butler's name is Alfred.
How it works
Alfred sorts each letter by who sent it and which of your affairs it belongs to. The rules are set in code; artificial intelligence helps to read, but never decides on its own.
What he doesn't know, he asks. With every answer, he asks less.
Your mail never leaves your house
Operator runs entirely on your Mac. There is no Operator server and no account to create. Its promise: it doesn't write, it doesn't send, it doesn't keep.
Status
Operator is in development and in private beta. It is free and will be open source.
