What is Clicon?
Clicon is Martín Endara's studio in Buenos Aires: a factory of AI-powered business tools, each with a world of its own, built for people and ready for their agents. Its trademark is looking at things from another angle, where nobody else is looking. In Martín's words: "Clicon is the factory of questions for my restless curiosity — questions that usually end up on the design table, along with my urge to build and to learn along the way. Into everything I build I print my experiences, starting from the idea of what's useful rather than what's possible, from the manifesto of my need for creativity and expression. I'm at odds with a world that's simple, boring, and cheapened in both its aesthetics and its intellect. But don't get the wrong idea: these are serious, powerful work tools, built with the latest in AI, that simply refuse to be boring or just one more of the pile."
Who is behind Clicon?
Martín Endara, Clicon's founder, designs and builds AI tools. He brings more than fifteen years building digital products. In 2008 he founded Wonton Studios, Ecuador's first mobile games studio. As a consultant he led digital projects for Telefónica, Samsung, Mitsubishi Motors and Herman Miller, and taught master's programs for ten years at UADE, USFQ and UISEK. He holds an MBA from the University of León (Spain), Duke's AI Product Management specialization, and a professional cybersecurity certification with a specialization in AI.
What tools does Clicon make today?
Two.
Lotus, an AI citation intelligence platform, now in the lab and open to conversations. And Operator, a Mac app that sums up your Gmail week, still on the bench. The third portal is under construction.
What is Lotus, and is it available?
Lotus measures whether AI engines cite a brand when someone asks about its category, and turns that invisibility into dollars with its own model, the Bleed Model. It adds a sector analysis tool that measures AI citability across an entire industry. Martín built it alone in five weeks with Python, FastAPI and Next.js, and it includes a 12-tool MCP server listed in the GitHub MCP Registry. Today it lives in the lab as a research project. If you want to talk about it, write to me.
What is Operator, and when does it ship?
Operator is a macOS app that reads your Gmail in read-only mode and, every Monday, hands you the week's summary, delivered by Alfred, a period butler. It runs 100% on your computer and it's free. It's under construction and not yet downloadable; when it ships, it will be on this site.
What does "ready for their agents" mean?
That every tool, and this site itself, can be read and used by people and by AI agents alike: structured data, an llms.txt file, and interfaces like
Lotus's MCP server. More and more people ask an AI to search, compare or act for them; a tool an agent can't understand gets left out.
How does Clicon work with AI?
Judgment is human; AI is the skeleton. Martín defines the problem, designs and audits; AI agents write much of the code under strict rules and automated verification. That's how a one-person studio builds at a team's speed without giving up craft.
Are Martín Endara and Martín Strang the same person?
Yes. Martín Strang is his name as a musician: he wrote and recorded three albums, available on
Bandcamp,
Tidal,
Apple Music and
YouTube. He's also part of
Mahatma Candy, an electronic music duo, and builds guitars by hand at
Strang Guitars. Clicon is the bench where all of it works together.
What is the book "Here's What I Know" about?
It's a field guide for one person, or very few, trying to start a tech company with more judgment than capital. It starts from Martín's own experience: he built a working software company in five weeks, and then absolutely nobody came. The cost of building software collapsed toward zero; the cost of being found went the other way. Eighteen chapters on validation, building with agents, pricing, fundraising and distribution, including how to get an AI assistant to cite you. Every figure has a verifiable source. On
Amazon in English and Spanish, in Kindle and paperback.
